The Art of Connection Exhibition

About the exhibition

The Art of Connection exhibition celebrates the powerful connections fostered within the HeART & Soul community. HeART & Soul is an art program that brings together people with lived experience of mental health challenges, providing a safe, welcoming space to create, connect, and express themselves through art.

This exhibition showcases a diverse collection of works that reflect individual journeys, shared experiences, and the meaningful relationships formed through creativity. Each piece tells a unique story, highlighting the ways art can inspire connection, promote wellbeing, and strengthen a sense of belonging.

Through their artwork, participants share their creativity, resilience, and personal perspectives, offering visitors a glimpse into the transformative role that art can play in enhancing wellbeing. This exhibition celebrates not only artistic achievement, but also the confidence, growth, and community that flourish when people come together in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The HeART & Soul – The Art of Connection Exhibition will be taking place during Mental Health Month: Wednesday 14 October – Tuesday 20 October 2026 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
