About the program

The HeART & Soul program and exhibition first began in 2023, offering a creative outlet for participants accessing Richmind WA services and supporting them to channel energy and focus on their mental health recovery, culminating in an exhibition of their work and an open day for the community.

Join us

Join us during NAIDOC Week to celebrate the Koort Wirrin Exhibition, in recognition of this year’s theme ‘50 Years of Deadly’ we are showcasing 50 artworks created by participants of the Moorditj Djerpin Wirrin HeART & Soul program, led by Aboriginal artist Lesley Murray.

The HeART & Soul program invited people to connect, create and heal together through engaging and creative group activities. It was one of several Strengthen your Spirit opportunities led by Aboriginal artists and facilitators, creating meaningful pathways to support, connection and collective healing through storytelling, art, cultural immersion, and shared experiences on Country.

Special Event: Tuesday 7 July, 10am-12pm
Exhibition Dates: 6–10 July, 10am-4pm
Richmind WA, 29 Manning Road, Cannington
