Join us for a cuppa and a yarn at our consultation sessions

5-7 August 2025

We’re bringing together the local community and service providers to talk about what a culturally safe Karratha Step Up/Step Down service would look like.

We’re exploring the Karratha Step Up/Step Down service model – a community-based residential mental health service – and how it could work in the Pilbara region.

Let’s work together on:

  • Referrals and exit pathways: Designing flexible pathways for people to access and exit the service.
  • Supporting strong transitions: Helping people move between services with care and understanding.
  • Creating a culturally safe space: One that respects and reflects First Nations Peoples’ ways of knowing, being and doing.
