Overview
The Bassendean service is a 12-bed residential program supporting adults (18-65 years) with complex mental health challenges. This medium to long-term service provides 24/7 psychosocial support in a safe, inclusive environment.
The service focuses on working with residents to develop individualised support plans.
With a trauma informed, person-centred and recovery-based approach, staff support residents to develop and reach individual goals, work towards independent living skills and develop social skills and coping strategies to better manage their mental health.
Residents engage in both group activities and individualised recovery sessions.
