Giselle has had an extensive career in healthcare initially starting out as a Radiation Therapist delivering clinical services and innovation in the field. Passionate for the business of healthcare, she completed an MBA majoring in Health Management. From here Giselle held roles in hospital operations, project management and strategic program management roles across hospital patient flow and acute mental health.
Giselle has had experience working in the primary healthcare not-for-profit sector in business development designing and delivering mental health, allied and aboriginal health services with a focus on chronic disease and has also held a role as CEO. As an MAICD, Giselle has also spent time as a Board Director on a tech startup harnessing the power of e-health solutions for hospital in the home care.
Throughout her career, Giselle has maintained a strong focus on the importance of collaboration within and across sectors, has led teams to think strategically and to innovate. She believes firmly in the importance of person-centred care where the people using health and social services are equal partners in how we plan, develop and deliver care that meets their needs.
