Demystifying Mental Health in the Workplace (Trauma-Informed)

1/2 Day Course

Facilitated by a trained mental health professional, our course takes a trauma-informed approach to open conversations about mental health, covering topics such as depression, psychosis, self-harm, suicide, anxiety, and more. You’ll learn to recognise signs of mental distress, engage in supportive conversations, and guide people to professional help. Empower yourself and your team with the knowledge and skills to support mental wellbeing.

Understanding the impact of trauma is crucial for fostering a kinder, more empathetic environment/workplace. This course encourages participants to support people experiencing mental distress with compassion and confidence. Learn to distinguish between low mood and mental illness, create safe spaces, reacquaint yourself with active listening skills, and get comfortable with difficult conversations. Feel reassured knowing there are numerous referral pathways for recovery and wellbeing. Empower yourself to make a positive difference.
