I was born in the United Kingdom and moved to Perth, Western Australia in 1987 with my two younger brothers and my parents. I completed my schooling and enlisted straight into the Army as a medic at 17 years of age. I live in Perth on the coast with my wife and two sons.
I have served 28 years in the Army, 17 years in Special Operations Command, both in full time and part time roles and continue to serve as a Reserve Officer. In my civilian career I have worked in mining, oil, and gas, run my own RTO and consulting company and worked in senior manager and executive level roles in various professional service organisations.
Having been through a mental health journey of my own, I was drawn to Richmond Wellbeing by the sheer quality of its people and service to the community. I have a deep desire to give back and serve, and working with the incredible people at Richmond gives me that opportunity and privilege to do so in a very positive way.
