I was born in Subiaco, at King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women, where my mother also worked as a neonatal nurse. My family, including a sister, remained local to the area as I grew with my father working as a carpenter. Growing up, I also spent a lot of time in the south west, and have developed a deep connection to the bush and beach in Wadandi Boodja, where I now spend as much time as possible.
After high school, I spent 8 years in Sydney and 2 in London building a career in media planning and buying in the communications industry. After 10 years away, home called, and I returned to Perth embarking on a career change to Accounting, specialising in Financial Planning and Analysis. This field attracted me due to the similarities with media planning and buying and transferable skills including data analysis to support effective decision making, planning informed by data, within budget constraints and to achieve specific organisational outcomes, monitoring and measuring to drive improved performance in real time, and post analysing to apply learnings in future.
I joined Richmond Wellbeing in 2023 as the Chief Financial Officer and am passionate about working in the mental health sector. I’m driven by a deep need to focus on impactful work which has the potential to change the trajectory of individual lives in a positive way.
